The ‘Potenue’ FAQ: Everything You Need to Know
Q: Are there any hidden costs for these programs?
A: For GE L.I.F.T. and FidHacks, no. They are “Full Coverage.” For NASA L’SPACE, the “cost” is the 10+ hours a week of work. For Kohl’s, if the summit is virtual, there are no costs; if in-person, they traditionally cover logistics.
Q: Can international students apply?
A: For NASA and GE Aerospace, you generally must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to export control laws. For Fidelity and Kohl’s, eligibility varies, but permanent U.S. work authorization is usually required for long-term placement.
Q: I missed the deadline! What now?
A: Join the Talent Communities linked below. NASA and GE Aerospace open these windows months in advance. Joining the “Interest Lists” is the first step toward Information Equity.
Q: How do I stand out?
A: Use your Social Proof. If you are a published author or a Changemaker, mention how your unique “voice” will add value to their team. Companies aren’t just looking for high GPAs; they are looking for leaders who can communicate a vision.
