Eligibility & International Applicants (For Women)
- Age Limit: No specific age restriction.
- Who can apply: Open strictly to women who are non-U.S. citizens or permanent residents. International women worldwide, including those from India, are eligible to apply if they meet the academic criteria.
- Academic Level: Must be admitted or enrolled in a first master’s or academic/professional doctorate degree program in a STEM discipline at a U.S. Department of Education-accredited institution. Must hold the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale for the highest degree earned.
- Visa Notice: Applicants must reside in the U.S. or country of study for the duration of the fellowship and hold valid non-immigrant status. Recipients must not be U.S. permanent residents or green card applicants.
