- The International Travel Gap: HIDDEN CHARGE. The BSU scholarship explicitly does not cover international airfare. You are responsible for booking and paying for your flights to and from Bucharest.
- Visa Processing Fees: If you require a Romanian visa (which is now part of the Schengen air/sea zone), you must pay the embassy fees (approx. $90–$110 USD) and handle your own travel to the nearest consulate.
- Mandatory Insurance: You must provide proof of Travel Health Insurance valid in the EU/Romania. This usually costs between $30–$50 for two weeks.
