Hosted by the International Leadership Center (ILC) at the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs, the Yale Peace Fellowship 2027 brings together global leaders working on the frontlines of peacebuilding, conflict resolution, diplomacy, and post-conflict reconciliation.
Combining virtual learning with two fully funded in-person convenings in the United States and the United Kingdom, this fellowship provides training in negotiation, leadership skills, and strategic peace leadership.

Is There an Age Limit?
No. There is no minimum or maximum age limit for the Yale Peace Fellowship.
The program welcomes candidates of all ages who are actively working in peace and reconciliation. However, the selection committee focuses on rising leaders at a critical juncture in their careers who possess a proven track record of impact and a drive for continued leadership growth.
Can Indian & International Candidates Apply?
Yes! Indian citizens and international candidates worldwide are fully eligible.
- Global Representation: The cohort is geographically balanced, welcoming applicants from Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East, and North America.
- No Degree Requirement: A formal academic degree is not mandatory, but applicants must demonstrate significant professional accomplishments in peacebuilding, politics, religion, civil society, or human rights.
- Language Proficiency: Candidates must be fluent in English (all sessions, trainings, and discussions are conducted in English).

While the program itself is fully funded once selected, candidates should be aware of initial and out-of-pocket costs:

- Passport & Visa Fees (Out-of-Pocket):
- Selected fellows are responsible for their passport issuance/renewal fees and arranging their US (B1/B2) and UK visa appointments in their home country.
