Can MBA Aspirants Apply?
Yes, but only in a specific situation.
A student who is currently pursuing an eligible STEM bachelor’s degree and plans to pursue an MBA later can apply, provided they meet all RISE eligibility requirements.
However:
- A student currently studying an MBA is not eligible.
- A graduate who has already completed their bachelor’s degree is not eligible.
- A student studying Business/Management at undergraduate level would generally not meet the eligible STEM-field requirement.
- A student studying an eligible STEM bachelor’s degree in India is not eligible for RISE Germany because the programme requires enrollment at a university in the US, Canada, UK or Ireland.
Nationality
There is no requirement to hold U.S., Canadian, British or Irish citizenship.
International students can apply if they are enrolled at an eligible university in the US, Canada, UK or Ireland for more than 12 months by the application deadline.
Work Experience
No professional work experience is required.
However, practical experience can strengthen an application, and DAAD notes that internship providers often prefer students who have completed their third year and have relevant practical experience.
