Key Benefits & Financial Support: Azim Premji Foundation Scholarship
- Award Amount: ₹30,000 per year transferred directly to the student’s bank account.
- Duration: Paid annually for the full duration of a regular undergraduate degree or diploma (ranging from 2 to 5 years, totaling up to ₹1,50,000).
- Application Fee & Hidden Charges: $0 (100% Free). There are no registration or processing fees.
Eligibility Criteria
- Gender: Exclusively for girl students.
- School Background: Must have passed both Class 10 and Class 12 as a regular student from a government school or college located within an eligible State or Union Territory.
- Eligible States/UTs: Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi (NCT), Jharkhand, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Odisha, Puducherry, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Telangana, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. (check once on the website)
- Course Requirement: Must be enrolled in the first year of a recognized undergraduate degree or diploma program (2 to 5 years duration) at any government or recognized private institution in India. This must be the student’s first undergraduate degree.
- Selection: Selection is not based on merit, marks, caste, income, or religion.
