Who can apply
- Nationality: Must be a citizen of a country that maintains diplomatic relations with Japan. Open worldwide, including Indian applicants.
- Age Limit: Must have been born on or after April 2, 1992 (for graduate tracks; undergraduate tracks follow specific separate MEXT age baselines).
- Academic Merit: Must have achieved a minimum CGPA of 2.30 out of 3.00 on your most recent educational scale.
- Language Proficiency: Must satisfy APU’s English or Japanese language proficiency entry requirements (e.g., meeting CEFR B2 equivalents or previous study in English).

- Tuition & Fees: Full admission fee coverage and a 100% tuition fee waiver.
- Stipend: A monthly subsistence/living allowance of 144,000 JPY (which includes housing support; subject to change).
- Travel: Round-trip economy-class airfare between your home country and APU at the start and end of the program.
