Who Can Apply?
You may be eligible if you:
- Are a woman aged 21–40
- Are an Indian citizen
- Are a student, research scholar, teacher or social activist
- Live or are based in a non-Tier-I city or rural area of India
- Have not previously completed the MWCD internship
Important: Non-Tier-I City Requirement
This is not open to applicants from Tier-I cities.
The stated exclusions include:
Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Ahmedabad and Pune.
If you are from another city or a rural area, check the official guidelines to confirm that your location qualifies.
